 The Parish Vocations Ministry works and prays with the parish community to encourage and foster a culture of vocations, especially to the priesthood, diaconate, and religious life.

The St. John's Parish Library contains inspirational and faith based books, CDs and DVDs for children and adults.

Bible Study Groups

Gathers weekly during the academic year for prayerful study of Sacred Scripture and Catholic tradition.

Using the Catholic publication, "Magnificat" men gather weekly for discussion of faith and prayer, and family life.

Using the Cathlic publication "The Word Among Us" the women reflect upon the mediations and daily readings.

Studies the Bible in depth to gain a better understanding of what God's Word means and how it applies to daily living.

 Faith Sharing

For those who are interested in integrating personal, spiritual and social ministry.

A faith sharing group nurturing women on the spiritual journey of motherhood.

A support group for those interested in the Centering Prayer method.

A lunchtime Men's Group of faith and fellowship.

 Catholic Schools

Dedicated to the academic, spiritual, and physical development of children in grades K4-8.

North Alabama's only Catholic college prepatory school for students in grades 9-12.

Provides information and support for families new to home education or those home educators new to St. John the Baptist parish.

 Rosary Groups

Ladybug Rosary Group
A weekly rosary group offering intercessory prayers for schools, students, and educators.

Prays the rosary offering prayers for the St. John's community.
